Navigator had stock in the PIAS warehouse that was burned down, according to this:

http://thefourohfive.com/news/article/pias-warehouse-destroyed-in-london-riots-pias-fundraiser-event-details#.TkEL2ed_x-8.twitter

There's stuff in this item about fundraising and so on.

according to Tom it was Reveal stock, not Navigator. 11,000 CD/LP's lost.   :(

There is a website, which will be added to, for fundraising http://cognitvedissonancerecords.com/labellove/

I was listening to the radio this morning and they asked a young man why he was involved in the trouble, and he said something along the lines of "I'm not going to miss out on a load of free stuff. The prisons are all full, what are they going to do? Give me an ASBO? I can live with that." I was somewhere between speechless and utterly depressed.

What's really sad is that they obviously have no idea of 'wrong'. You do wonder what's gone wrong for them to be thinking like that.

Listening to the radio at lunchtime - they had the father of one of the young men killed by the hit and run driver last night on. Very sad indeed, especially when he made a clear point about not wanting any sort of revenge on the people that did it, that's it's down to the law. He was very clear, and with the best message I've ever heard from anyone in that sort of situation.

Just heard the news that a friend of mine pasted away last week at the age of 77. She was a really lovely lady who was very much a part of my childhood, one of those people that was always please to see you and took a real interest in what you where doing. She taught me so many things and left me with some really happy memories. I haven't seen her much in the last few years but I'm going to really miss her being round.

Two members of our party won't be at Shrewsbury this weekend as the mum of one of them died suddenly earlier this week.  She's had to fly back to the States to be with her family, leaving her husband here.  She was only in her late 60s.

Thanks Trunkles - we knew it would happen before Christmas. She's been fighting liver cancer for over a year.  Such a lovely person, and real asset to our school.

It's never easy when it happens but at least you and their family had some warning it was going to happen, not that it is much comfort. Such a shame it was it just before her birthday.
