Oh how I'd love to but I just can't afford to go to this, £46:50 + train fare + accommodation, It's just too much for my measly income I'm afraid  :'(

Huzzah! The in-laws are in Newcastle, so free accommodation, plus bonus points for actually visiting them over the Xmas period this year  ;D  Count me in! (mind you, it's a hell of a drive, but since we'd probably have to do it anyway...)

Have booked the Premier Inn for £29. First time I have ever managed to do that. Just need to get tickets now...

OH is going to Antarctica for three months next week so think I can treat myself!

Think there'll be a few of us in the Premier Inn!

This is exciting news, isn't it?! Thanks for letting us know Mark!

Now, are we having a theme for what to wear?

Just checking that the Premier Inn is the one at Lobley Hill Road.  How far is it to the venue? Although for that price it is worth booking.

Yes, that's the one Nels. Louise P told me about the offer (thanks Louise) and she said it's about 2 1/2 miles. Should be scope for sharing taxis as there'll be several of us staying there.
