Seasons greetings, everyone.

I survived the day at Mum's and managed to be nice most of the time (they're both deaf, so won't have heard me be not nice!).  Chairdanced to the Peatbog Faeries all the way there and back and therefore thought about New Years Eves past, but this time the memories made me smile.  Thank you, Bellowhead, and thank you forum friends  ;D

A slightly belated seasons greetings to one and all.

We've recently had an offer on a house in France accepted and hope to move over there following my retirement at the end of March - well someone's got to help them drink all that lovely wine....................

We're three kilometres south of the Dordogne river in Perigord Noir outside the village of Cenac et St Julien. Three of "les plus beaux villages de France" - Domme, Roque Gageac and Beynac - are within 10/15 minutes drive and Sarlat with its beautiful medieval centre is 20 minutes away.
