T-shirts
« on: Wednesday, January 13 2016 06:35PM GMT-1 »
Just a bit of a warning for the rest of you - my in-laws bought me the final tour t-shirt for xmas, but the sizings are a bit mad - the ladies large is a little on the tight side on me  ::) Also, the colours on the merchandise site are mad - I thought it was a lovely dark red colour, but it turned out to be post-box red!

Have contacted them to see if I can exchange, but thought I'd warn you lot in case you're buying stuff in these last few months...

Thanks for the 'heads up' on the merch, I wanted to buy a final tour t-shirt, I already have enough grey but didn't like the dark red colour! I might get one now if, as you say, it's a brighter red!
As for the size, I'm going to get an XL mens, & re-style it into a tunic with a band on the bottom, they are long enough to do this as I'm a shortie!

That's a great idea. I'm not a t-shirt person but I'd wear a tunic top.

I wonder if yours was sized wrongly, Elly? I got the large ladies one and it fits me. It is, as you say, a brighter red than it looks on line, but I'm OK with that as I love bright red!

I think you're a bit smaller than me Maureen! It's a bit tighter than I prefer across the bust :)

The last ladies fit t-shirt that I bought was an XXL and that was fine, they haven't offered that size on the new range of T-shirts so I'm back to buying the men's sizes!

I have bought the sweatshirt too, the 'cut' is masculin, ie: larger around the chest smaller around the hips, so if anyone plans to purchase one, be aware if you are female & larger on the hips than bust!
Size Large measures flat.. 56cm (22") chest, 50cm (19 3/4") hip. Quie a big difference!

That's useful to know Barbara - I was about to order a sweatshirt!

I'm finding it a bit of a novelty not having to get the largest size in everything! (I've lost six stones over the last sixteen months.)

I had noticed Maureen when I saw you at Butlins! I didn't say anything just incase you had been unwell and I didn't know! Seeing you on Tuesday, I notice that you looked rather good!!

I certainly noticed at New Year Maureen - you looked amazing! Well done! (I'm trying to re-find my waist in time for the wedding - better make those last 3 Bellowhead gigs a *very* good workout )
