Mike Harding was talking to Jon Boden last night about his work for the Shakespeare company.

It will be on 'listen again' sorry can't do the link 'cos I'm at work and the R2 site is barred.  ???

Just listening to the listen again.....I didn't know Radio 2 had a folk show. :) :o

which leads me onto a question...what's your fave shakespere play? ;)

Wonderful! Fabulous! Thank you, Annie D.  I LOVED the song Tell me where is fancy bred.

I've got my tickets for May 27th - even more eager to go see this!

PS now listening to Levon Helm, who followed JB - not half bad, either!  I must start listening again to Mike Harding.

I used to listen to the song 'tell me where is fancy bred' a while ago when I had to do some odd choral malarky to do with GCSEs - Jon's version is great!!

Finally heard it!
Lovely stuff. He played a little of the score at his workshop at OFF this weekend. Excellent stuff.
If only Stratford wasn't so far away.  :(

And my fave Shakespeare plays are Macbeth, Comedy of Errors and A Midsummer Nights Dream.
