Am I the only person on here who doesn't wear glasses? My mother always said I'd ruin my eyes by reading in semi darkness, but it hasn't happened yet ;D

Since this is random chitchat, may I show off some photos from our dance on Saturday? It's the best I've done thus far, and I'm quite proud  ::) Lots here: http://www.tony-hart.com/galleries/bellydancing/index.html

I don't wear glasses either!  ;)
And ooh la la I do like those pics - looks like fun!

No glasses for me either, despite too much reading in the dark.

Immigration news: today I was informed that I'd been granted a permanent residency visa for New Zealand and would I please send them my passport for stamping. Thanks the stars! It's been the longest and most complex paperwork exercise in my life!

I had an English teacher at school who had a glass eye - I was never quite sure if he was looking at me or not!
oh I had a french teacher with a lazy eye..I never knew which 'sarah' she was talking to as there was 4 others beside me in the class with the same name.

Wow, you have an interesting job.  ;D

Last time we were in Whitby, we went to the Captain Cook museum and they had an exhibition all about the body art of Australia and New Zealand, fascinating stuff.

Manchester is full is Glasgow Rangers and St. Petersburg football fans today. It took me an hour to get to work, I got off the bus and walked in the end. I can here fans shouting already in Albert Square which is near where I work. It might be bringing £5 million to the city but it's doing for my nerves!
When you're a kid, they tell you it's all "grow up. Get a job. Get married. Get a house. Have a kid, and that's it." But the truth is, the world is so much stranger than that. It's so much darker. And so much madder. And so much better.

I know what you mean..I always take a hairband when I try glasses on so I can see what they look like with hair up and down.

...I always take a hairband when I try glasses on so I can see what they look like with hair up and down.

The trouble is, when I try new glasses on, then because they don't have the lenses in I can't actually see what I look like...

Mind you, I wouldn't need a hairband anyway. Not nowadays. ;)
