Did you go last year with all that mud??    Also of course going to Bellowhead at Bath.

Yeah, I actually thought the mud was amusing. Quite fun, walking around in wellies getting the bottom of my dress soaked :P

went to see Waterson Carthy at the Assembly Rooms in Bath last night.    Really good night.    But as it was a seated venue no dancing to the tunes.     Having said that it was too hot to dance [lots of expensive chandeliars, lighting the venue - it was very grand  ;D]

Even got a Faustus song from Saul 'the old miser'.

so did I.    Even when walking back up hill to our car, when I fell down face down in it, I managed to laugh  ;D.    Mind you given it was late at night and some beer consumed helped I think

For those of you going to Bath, this is in the latest copy of EDS magazine

"Paul Fletcher, sculptor and long time New Scorpion Band fan, received a commission to provide twelve angels for the new choir stalls at Bath Abbey"

It's a long article but the gist of it is that the angels are based on the members of the band, and they are playing musical instruments such as fiddle, concertina, uillean pipes, etc. They are located above the choir stalls.

Worth a look if you have some free time.

Next to it there is a nice piece about Boden at the RSC.

The lyric of the song is "So take this yellow handkerchief in remembrance of me..."  ;)
The collective noun for a group of hermits? ... a failure
