Bellowhead in Oxford - 29 October
« on: Tuesday, September 30 2008 12:52PM GMT-1 »
Hi folks

Just a quick question: is anybody going to the gig at the Zodiac in Oxford on 29 October who is from the West Oxfordshire area?  If so, does anybody fancy trying to sort out a vehicle-share of some sort?  Ma and I are attending but I don't particularly want to leave my car on the Cowley Road for the gig, travel back using public transport solo or drag my Dad out to get us.  So, I was contemplating seeing if there were any travelling buddies who fancied either arranging a joint taxi/bus route back.

Best regards

Suzanne

I don't know about transport arrangements, but see this thread for who's going: http://forums.spiersandboden.com/index.php?topic=356.0

Hi Suzanne!

We'll be at the gig, going to and fro by bus. We usually walk between the venue and the bus stops in the centre of town. You're welcome to join us.

Cheers

On the 29th October I shall be going with the Divas to see Bellydance Superstars in St David's Hall.

REALLY looking forward to that! Especially as only a few days later I shall be seeing Bellowhead in Bristol - WHAT a good week!

You and I are having a rather similar week that week then Muse - I'm off to see the BDSS (never seen them before - hoping to pick up some tribal hints and tips!) in Basingstoke on the 26th, then Bellowhead at Koko on 30th ;D So you can see how I can't afford Oxford on the 29th as well...

You could if you tried!  As it happens, I seem to have a spare ticket for the Carling Academy so if you want it ....

Carolyn!  :o Don't you know you're not supposed to feed a junkie's habit?  :D (I get enough of that at home!). It's tempting though....but I've just had a look at what my hours that week would likely work out as, and it would be a couple of 10 hour days at work, so I'll have to wait and see. Plus my car needs new tyres and coolant and stuff this month  :( What are you doing with a spare ticket anyway?

If not, I might be interested in claiming that...
