Annoying Things
« on: Saturday, November 15 2008 02:34AM GMT-1 »
I get annoyed when drunken people in my halls set the fire alarms off at 1.00 in the morning. Especially when it has already gone off 3 times today  >:( So the people who turn them off know it's a fake and let it carry on for HALF AN HOUR to teach people to stop doing it. So it wakes me up and makes a flipping noise outside my room!!

Oh Helen - it's awful isn't it! The trouble is you have to go out every time 'just in case'. In our halls the showers used to set the alarms off accidently (though that was some time ago)

Talking of which my shower has broken. That means I'm going to be horrible tomorrow morning. I don't work properly until I've had my shower and 2 cups of tea.

I know this is nothing like the above, but I really hate people who ask stupid questions. As I was getting off the bus this morning with my acoustic guitar, which is quite big and bulky, the driver asked me "so, can you play that thing?" I felt like turning round and saying "no, I thought I'd just bring it on the bus to make life difficult for myself!"  Grrrrr!!  :aemo_spibodjmp:

Noone ever goes outside here. If I only get 2 fire alarms a night it is a miracle. I've lived here for 2 months and I think we have had about 10 nights without the alarm going off.
None tonight so far actually!  :o

Got in from work at 9 this morning, woken up at 1 by the landlord trying to fix our fire alarm but setting it off for 20 minutes.  Now trying to get back into normal night sleeping mode and my flatmate has had friends come round at midnight and they're sat chatting in the dinning room which is right below my room! grrrr

Thare used to be a kid at school who played the double bass and everyone would ask him if it was a giant guitar.   ::)

Ditto! Most people either call it a ukulele or a banjo...

Very very annoying: people who make judgements about other people with little to no information about the subject they are judging them on. >:( >:( >:(
