Wrens - roosting in our porch - about 10 or 15 of them when it was very cold. It does mean we can't use the front door though....

How lovely!

Sunshine is a nice thing isn't it?  Quick, there's some in Manchester at the moment!

And the sunshine's still here, it's a lovely crisp winter day. Which is a Very Nice Thing.
When you're a kid, they tell you it's all "grow up. Get a job. Get married. Get a house. Have a kid, and that's it." But the truth is, the world is so much stranger than that. It's so much darker. And so much madder. And so much better.

I woke up to a beautiful morning - the fields all covered in frost and a beautiful fox strolled past - its tail all fluffed out because of the cold. Wonderful sight. (I realise not everyone likes foxes, but I do and don't see one very often)

I'd love to be out walking at the moment - perfect weather for it!  Might pootle out to Sainsbury's later and get in a few supplies.  I'd rather be out in the hills though.

Pickeletto - I think foxes are beautiful, but the ones we get round here tend to be rather scrawny!

Shame it hasn't got a coffee shop really!  Quite fancy a frothy coffee and a Danish pastry!

A nice football thing today - Ashley Young scoring the most beautiful goal i have seen in ages, for Aston Villa this afternoon. There is something about watching genius unfold before your eyes that is truly spellbinding. I apologise if there are any Everton fans reading this, but it was amazing. ;D
