A very brief interview with Paul Sartin in an article about Gosport Nancy on BBC South today. I think they scoured the streets of Gosport looking for someone called Nancy!

I  know it's been and gone - but we watched last Wednesday's Midsomer Murders last night. It all happened during a small village Folk Festival, and just before the second murder (a huge speaker fell on him) - suddenly we could hear the familiar strains of "Whiskey is the life of man" playing in the background.

It also featured Jackie Oates and the venue was Nettlebed Folk Club.
The song which the episode was themed around was written and sung by Seth Lakeman, and also he was the voice of the dead singer!

Ah yes, last time we saw Jim Moray and Jackie Oates at Nettlebed they were calling for extras to be the audience for that.

A couple of interesting programmes on iplayer." Secret knowledge -  in search of Rory McEwan" which slipped under the radar on Friday night. Also a history of hymn singing which I happened to notice when scrolling through and thought some might be interested in - think it's an Ulster Tv prog. Both on documentaries/history section of iplayer. Will try and remember to post links when not on phone!
