Benji Kirkpatrick discography
« on: Monday, September 14 2009 01:34PM GMT-1 »
Hi all,

Having made a decent fist of our basic discographies, I'm now going through the Bellowhead folks one at a time and trying my damnedest to track down all the work they've done with other people. First up - Benji!

http://www.brightyoungfolk.com/gigs/benji-kirkpatrick/discography.aspx

It's taken quite a long time to put together and I hope it will be interesting to the people here. Also, have I missed anything? If so, please let me know. (I also know about the "Amber Quartet" material that he did with Ian Giles. It's currently available on the Gift of Music label and I'll be adding all that to the site soon.)

Owt else?

Ta very much, Christopher

(Quick reply as I've got to dash...)

He's on "Song Links 2" which is a various artists project.

Not sure if he's on "Song Links" as well but here's a link to that so hopefully you can find more about these two albums.

(another flying visit...)

Here's a better link to Song Links 2...

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Song-Links-Vol-Celebration-Traditional/dp/B00097HE2Q/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1252938547&sr=8-2

And according to this he contributes "Draggle-tail Gypsies-o" and "Sovay".

Thanks for the tip, Nick. I've now added all the records we know about, with the covers coming soon.

Anyone know of others?
