Jon said at Shrewsbury that the Remnant Kings will be touring in February, and that it will be an A Folk Song A Day themed, with singarounds and sessions after the gigs! I can't wait!  :D

Indeed - they will be playing at the Hive in Shrewsbury but don't know the date yet (usually a Sunday)- and there are a couple of dates on the Alan Bearman site - 12th Feb in Bridgwater and 19 Feb in Hereford

Bother - I'll probably be on my way home from Cheltenham Folk Festival.

Mind you, depending on who is on the Sunday night (and we can rule out some possibilities!), Shrewsbury is on your way home (sort of).

but I will have same dilemma - because tickets will sell out fast (only 100 of them)

And I'll have work the next day - Cheltenham isn't at the start of my half-term next year, although the festival does start on my birthday, which is rather nice!

Tickets for the Hive show (Shrewsbury) went on sale last night and they were selling like hot cakes! Apparently, 250 people who filled in the Shrewsbury Folk Festival feedback form said they would be going so 150 of them will be disappointed!

I'm going to Cheltenham too.  I didn't last year - too finger-in-yer-ear for me.
