The Scilly Isles would be nice too...

I don't live there I just thought Mr Spiers might enjoy visiting there on his "Every Square Inch of the UK" tour   ;)

All good thoughts!  Don't worry - it's still in the pipeline, even if it only gets it's attention once in a blue moon at the moment.

I like the idea of an "every square inch" tour - where I do millions of very short gigs and nobody else has to move anywhere at all - I just play at them where they are - whether they like it or not  ;D  Actually that's a bit like the busking I used to do.

Thanks for the chivvy along though - there is a possibility of a short solo gig really quite soon, but I will have to get it firmed up before advertising it.

Cheers

Squeezy

House concerts?  You could come to everyone's front room!

Thanks Squeezy - that's great news!

Yes! Seconded! I once had a friend that won Feeder playing in her living room - it was fab!

Thirded. Then all of us could pile round to one another's houses and have a nice party!

Erm... fourthed? I like the idea of being played at wherever I am! Then I could ask you to move round a bit so I can stare intently at your melodeons in action  ;D

OR ... considering there are so many of us here ... how about a series of library gigs??

:D At lots of the little compact but bijou village libraries that are under threat at the moment.

::) Maybe CILIP would help sponsor it, or the Reading Agency, or a music publisher, or a chain of record shops, or, or .... pipe dreams   :-\ ???

A library tour would be marvellous. However CILIP are so poor I doubt they could sponsor a tune let alone a gig.

House concerts would be fun. They are quite popular in the States. You just need a big enough room!
When you're a kid, they tell you it's all "grow up. Get a job. Get married. Get a house. Have a kid, and that's it." But the truth is, the world is so much stranger than that. It's so much darker. And so much madder. And so much better.

That's a genius idea. Although it will be have to be quick before they close them all...
